Sequel To George Clooney & Brad Pitt’s ‘Wolfs’ In The Works At Apple

Apple Original Films Greenlights Follow-Up to the Thriller Ahead of Its Premiere.

Apple Original Films’ sequel to the thriller Wolfs, starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt, is officially in development. The original film, which will be premiered on Apple TV+ after its theatrical release in September this year, is set to captivate its audiences with its intense storyline and dynamic performances, making the news of a highly anticipated sequel.

The upcoming original Wolfs features Clooney and Pitt as rival fixers forced to team up to survive a dangerous conspiracy. Directed by Jon Watts, the film promises to deliver a sharp script, engaging action sequences, and the undeniable chemistry between its lead actors. The sequel promises to build on this foundation, delivering even more thrills and unexpected twists.

While details about the plot of the sequel remain under wraps, it is confirmed that Jon Watts will return as director. Watts, known for his work on the Spider-Man trilogy for Marvel, is expected to bring his signature style and vision to the new project.

George Clooney and Grant Heslov produced the original film through his Smokehouse Pictures and Brad Pitt via Plan B Entertainment with Watts, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Dianne McGunigle. The executive producer for Wolfs is Michael Beugg. Other than the leading men, the film’s star cast includes Austin Abrams, Richard Kind, Amy Ryan, Zlatko Burić and Poorna Jagannathan.

The sequel’s production, plot and cast details remain under wraps, but the original film is set to be released at the U.S. theatres on September 20, 2024, before getting streamed on Apple TV on 27th Sept. 2024. The upcoming film is set to get premiered at the 81st Venice Film Festival scheduled from 28th August to 7th September this year.

Brad Pitt has another project scheduled with Apple TV, F1, directed by Joseph Kosinski and Jerry Bruckheimer as the producer. Apple TV is also set to release Matt Damon starrer The Instigators, from the director Doug Liman and World War II drama, Blitz, by Steve McQueen.

As fans eagerly await more details, the announcement of a Wolves sequel underscores Apple’s commitment to producing high-quality, star-studded content.
