Selena Gomez finally reveals the traits she’s looking for in a potential lover. The ‘Lose You to Love Me’ singer is very specific about what she looks for in a man and also the way she wishes to meet ‘the one’.
The 27-year-old songstress has been single for over 2 years now and is ready to find her match. In an interview with a radio station to promote her comeback album Rare that releases on January 10th,2020, Selena explained how she would like to meet her S.O and said, “I like group situations. So, I find that that’s what makes me comfortable if they’re someone maybe I know of someone I know, I tend to like to be approached in a natural, organic way. And I hope that whoever is doing that is actually interested in me and not really my name. So, it’s pretty hard, but that’s usually the best way”. The question was asked by ‘Ridin’ Solo’ singer Jason Derulo in a pre-recorded video.
Gomez went on to reveal the qualities she looks for in a guy and said, “I love genuine, you know? I feel like in the first five seconds, I can tell if I’m meeting someone that just wants one thing.” Selena also said that she notices the company of her potential S.O, adding, “I can tell when it’s a good group of guys and they’re cool.”
She further added, “I love funny. I don’t like arrogant. I don’t like show off-y. I love playful and adventurous, but really down to earth and cool.”
After her on-again-off-again relationship with Justin Bieber and brief relationships with Zedd, Orlando Bloom and The Weeknd, Selena seems to have learned her lesson and we wish her the best and hope she finds the man she’s been looking for and finally gets her ‘happy ever after’.
