Selena Gomez talks to a radio station about the experience of playing her song ‘Lose You to Love Me’ from her album Rare that releases early next year, for longtime best friend pop-star Taylor Swift and her parents Scott and Andrea before releasing the track to the world.
The 27-year-old Disney alum said that she will never forget Taylor’s and her mom’s reaction when she played them the track and that it was one of the coolest experiences of her life.
The songstress further revealed that watching them breakdown was surreal and said that it was not just the song that made them cry, but the fact that they had been through the entire journey with her intimately and that they were proud of how much she has grown and are happy for her stepping into a new era of her life. She found that very sweet.
The ‘Lover’ songstress praised Gomez’s new track back in October in an interview and expressed to the host how proud she is of her best friend. She called her a ‘revelation’ and said that she is making her best stuff and is 100 percent convinced that this is the best thing that Selena has done so far in her career and is super proud of her after seeing her overcome various obstacles and tough situations and rise above it all.
