Robert Pattinson's upcoming film The Batman has been postponed from 2021 to 2022. Also, Keanu Reeves' next The Matrix 4 has been preponed to 2021 from 2022.

Robert Pattinson Starrer ‘The Batman’ Release Date Postponed!

In 2021, the much-awaited superhero movie, The Batman, will no longer hit theatres. Warner Bros. has postponed the comic book adventure and a number of other films, including The Flash and Shazam 2, in another major release schedule update.

The Batman starring Robert Pattinson who recently tested COVID positive as the Caped Crusader had been planned for October 1, 2021, according to Variety. It will now open on March 4, 2022.

Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi epic Dune will debut on October 1, 2021, instead of December 18, as announced earlier on Monday.

Although DC fans will have to wait a lot longer to see Matt Reeves taking on the iconic character, The Matrix fans have some positive news.

The outlet announced that the fourth Matrix movie would be released over the Christmas weekend in 2021, starring OG star Keanu Reeves, in comparison to its original release date of April 2022. The Matrix 4 date is now planned for December 22, 2021.

Timothee Chalamet starrer Dune producers also earlier this week revealed that in December the film would no longer release. Instead, the sci-fi by Denis Villeneuve will take up the weekend left by The Batman.

The release date of October 1, 2021, is now scheduled for Dune.

Meanwhile, from the June 3, 2022 release slot, WB already has The Flash starring Ezra Miller checked out and booked for release on the weekend of November 4, 2022. From November 4, 2022, to June 2, 2023, Shazam 2 is pushed back.

For Patty Jenkins helmed the superhero film, Wonder Woman 1984, though, Warner Bros still hopes to launch the movie on December 25, this year. Chris Pine and Kristen Wiig both appear in pivotal roles in the Gal Gadot film.
