Robert Pattinson Is Set To Return In The Batman 2

Warner Bros. officially announced returning of Robert Pattinson and director Matt Reeves while keeping other details under wraps.

Recently released Batman has become a huge hit at the box office. Its success was somewhat surprising, despite the popularity of comic book heroes, as it features a much darker tone and visual style than other recent superhero movies. And after the huge success of The Batman, Warner Bros. has announced the sequel of The Batman with the returning of big names.

Robert Pattinson will also be back to wearing the iconic black cowl in a sequel to The Batman. The actor will once again play Bruce Wayne and his alter ego of the Caped Crusader in the sequel to the massively successful superhero film, which is currently the highest-grossing film of 2022. Warner Bros. also announced at its CinemaCon presentation to theatre owners that the film’s director Matt Reeves would also return for the sequel.

Reeves spoke at the presentation and confirmed he would again be writing and directing the sequel, though he didn’t share any plot details about the hotly anticipated movie. There also wasn’t any announcement of a potential release window or a date for the start of production. ‘Thank you all for your tremendous support for The Batman,’ he said to theatre owners in the audience.

Director Matt Reeves continues, “We couldn’t have gotten here without the faith and enthusiasm of all your teams around the world. I’m excited to jump back into this world for the next chapter.” However, fans may have to wait until April of 2023 for more information about The Batman 2, as Reeves said future details would be presented ‘in a CinemaCon to come,’ according to IGN.
