Oscars 2023: Rihanna Is All Set To Perform At The 95th Academy Awards

At the 95th Academy Awards, which will be broadcast live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, Rihanna will be seen performing on stage once more.

Rihanna recently performed at the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Concert, marking her eagerly awaited return to the stage after a seven-year absence. In addition to her amazing performance, Rihanna made news when she announced her second pregnancy live on stage. And today, when the 95th Academy Awards will be broadcast live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, Rihanna will be seen performing on stage once more.

For the first time, Rihanna is up for an Oscar in the Best Original Song category for her smash hit Raise Me Up from Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Her 2016 album ANTI, was the first song she has recorded in six years. In addition, she sang the song Born Again for Black Panther 2 and dedicated it to the late Chadwick Boseman, who played the title character in the film and died in August 2020 after a quiet struggle with cancer.

The Diamonds singer will now play her Oscar-nominated song at the renowned event, and she will do it even though she is pregnant, according to the media portal.

Apart from the 35-year-old pop singer other nominees for the Best Original Song Oscar in 2023 are David Byrne, Ryan Lott, and Mitski for This Is a Life from Everything Everywhere All at Once, M. M. Keeravani and Chandrabose for Naatu Naatu from RRR, Diane Warren for “Applause” from Tell It Like a Woman, BloodPop, and Lady Gaga for “Hold My Hand” from Top Gun: Maverick.
