At the 2023 Super Bowl, Rihanna’s halftime performance rocked the music industry. The singer’s comeback to the stage surely made people realize what they had been missing over the past few years. The world-famous performer made her theatrical comeback after a seven-year absence, and her performance on a raised glass stage left everyone in awe and excitement. At the official Apple Music Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show Press Conference, Rihanna joined Apple Music Radio host Nadeska Alexis and discussed a variety of topics, including being opinionated, “bossy,” and unapologetic.
Speaking with Alexis, Rihanna clarified that she doesn’t worry about being labeled as a “bossy” person. “I have been bossy all my life. Ever since I was a little girl, but [this performance] is riding on me, you know? There are a lot of people who are a part of this show, and a huge part of the reason why this show’s gonna be as incredible as it is, and I couldn’t have done it without them,” she stated.
She added, that since her name is attached to every effort she undertakes, she must support them whether they are successful or unsuccessful. “And so I really get involved with every aspect of anything that I do, whether it’s the Super Bowl, whether it’s a makeup product, whether it’s Savage lingerie, like, whatever I do, I’m that annoying girl who’s gonna talk about everything. I want to name every lipstick that I make. I care about it. I love it. I love it, I really do.”
In the 2023 Super Bowl Rihanna was seen hitting the stage. At the event, she made a grand entrance and performed several timeless songs.
