One of the richest pop stars in the music industry is Rihanna. Rihanna, the second-best-selling female musician of all time, has sold more than 250 million records globally. The Good Girl Gone Bad singer is in the news after buying a lavish home worth a whopping $21 million in a 9,300-square-foot Los Angeles penthouse that was once owned by Friends actor Matthew Perry.
Ahead of the birth of her and her boyfriend Asap Rocky’s second child, the 35-year-old singer has recently bought the four-bedroom, eight-bathroom residence, which occupies the building’s entire 40th floor and is known as the “Mansion in the Sky”. It formerly belonged to Friend star Matthew Perry, who is known as Chandler Ning in the much-loved sitcom.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed a baby boy last year, and they are now expanding their family with another addition. The mansion, which is said to be “hovering above the city like a floating palace,” is said to have panoramic views of the city, the mountains, and the ocean. A living room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a screening room, and a pool room are just a few of the property’s many features.
The penthouse features four large balconies in addition to an all-white kitchen with marble countertops, two islands, and high-end appliances. The main suite features a curving glass wall, a fireplace-equipped living area, two bathrooms, and large closets. Other features include 24-hour security and concierge, a large pool with cabanas, a fitness centre, a movie theatre, and private wine storage.
Rihanna recently spent six nights and $500,000 renting a 6,400-square-foot mansion while she was in Phoenix for her Super Bowl performance. The property offers five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a large pool with a built-in waterfall, two living areas, a private gym, a walk-in wine cellar, and other features.
