Red Table Talk has been canceled as Facebook Watch ends its original programming. The show is a Facebook Watch show where the perspectives of three different generations are understood on a wide variety of topics. However, a variety of reports confirmed on Thursday that the original series will not be coming to the platform as Meta steps away from producing original programming, news that was previously reported by Deadline.

Red Table Talk is a Facebook Watch show hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith with her mother and her daughter. It was first launched on Facebook in May 2018, where they honestly opened up about his health struggles and house life. The back trio welcomes each guest in each episode and shares about their lives.

Red Table Talk by Meta has been canceled, the Facebook View Original Composite group has been cancelled, and the executive manager has left the tech company. Mina Lefevre, head of the original collection group for Meta, is moving away from expensive original programming, focusing on holistic development from Meta Horizon World to a virtual giant universe.

Jada Pinkett Smith posted on her official Instagram account, “We are so grateful to have had such a beautiful partnership with Facebook Watch and we are sorry to see the entire team disbanded.” adding, “We wish everyone well in their new journeys to come.”


Pinkett concluded, “We at Red Table are in talks of finding a new home, and we’ll see you soon.”
