Priyanka Chopra and her 11-month-old daughter Malti looked ready for Christmas in the new photos shared on the actress’ social media. The Baywatch actress took to her Instagram Stories to share photos of herself with Malti. Priyanka, who recently returned from a solo trip to her native India, rejoiced in a selfie as she pointed to a twinkling trimmed Christmas tree inside her home.
Alongside the sweet snap, she penned ‘It’s up!,’ and added a Christmas tree emoji and other fun symbols. In the second photo, Priyanka wore a white top and matching pants in another snap as she held Malti in her lap in front of a fireplace. ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like…,’ Priyanka wrote as a caption. The picture was clicked from behind of the mother-daughter duo.
Earlier to that, Priyanka took to her Instagram and shared an adorable photo after reuniting with Malti and her husband Nick Jonas. The happy family played together on the carpet with Priyanka captioning the candid snap simply ‘home’. Nick also shared the same photo on his feed. The Baywatch actress looked gorgeous in a silk printed co-ord as she appeared to go make-up free while wearing her brunette tresses loose.
Nick kept it casual in a dark sweater and corduroy trousers, completing the look with a pair of sneakers. Earlier this month Priyanka took to her Instagram Stories and wrote that she was ‘Finally.. going home. After almost three years..,’ over a picture of her boarding pass to India. She had clearly been craving to visit her country of origin for a while, judging by a Travel + Leisure interview she gave several months ago.
In the interview, Priyanka said, “My brain has been taking vacations every night, but I am dying to go back to India.”Priyanka explained, “Every state in India has its own written and spoken language, which means different alphabets, clothing, attire, foods, and holidays. So it’s like going to a new country every time you cross the border in India. Every time I go back home, I make sure I take time to do a bit of a holiday and travel.”
Priyanka and Nick exchanged vows in December 2018 and welcomed their first daughter, Malti Marie Jonas Chopra this year in January via surrogacy. The couple has kept the arrival of their daughter a secret, but they did post a picture of Malti in a family photo shot on the day she turned six months old, with an emoji covering her face. Since then, though Nick and Priyanka shared several glimpses of Malti on their social media, fans are still awaited to see her sweet face.
