Priyanka Chopra Gives A Peek At Upcoming Spy Series ‘Citadel’ Shoot

Like other details, the release date of the upcoming Amazon Prime series, starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden, is yet to be revealed.

Priyanka Chopra is currently filming the upcoming amazon spy series Citadel in Birmingham. And it seems like she had another tough day in the office. Baywatch actress took to her Instagram story and shared a selfie sporting a very bloody face following another fight scene on set on Thursday. The actress had blood dripping down the side of her face in the scary selfie.

The Matrix Resurrections star was wearing a pair of red trousers and a semi-sheer blacktop in a snap as she shot scenes for the upcoming Amazon Prime series. The scary selfie comes just days after she shared a snap of herself looking bruised and battered. She took to Instagram and showed off the makeup she was wearing for the scene, which included fake blood and bruises. The star wore a black sheer blouse along with a matching tie for the scene while she added to her look with gold earrings.

Alongside the snap, Priyanka jokingly wrote in the caption, “Did u have a tough day at work as well?” while adding hashtags actors life and citadel. Plot details of the upcoming Amazon Prime series, Citadel, are being kept under wraps but it has been described as an ‘action-packed spy series. According to IMDB, the show is being filmed in Birmingham and also stars Stanley Tucci and Richard Madden.

The upcoming Amazon series Citadel is one of the most-anticipated projects starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas given that it will see her teaming up with Eternals star Richard Madden. The series has also been created by Patrick Moran and the Russo brothers. While talking about the spy series with Variety, previously, Joe Russo had mentioned that the storyline of the series has been kept tightly under wraps.

While revealing the reason for not disclosing the plot of Citadel before its release, Joe Russo said, “It’s a big world set against the backdrop of a thriller. Each show features complimentary narratives, set in different locations, using different characters but are all tangentially associated with one of the two major organisations that are in the show.” Like other details, the release date of the upcoming Amazon Prime series is yet to be revealed.
