The Jonas Brothers recently received a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame and their respective wives and children watched were present there to support them. Priyanka Chopra was sitting in front to witness the milestone moment. However, she was not alone, the actress was holding her and Nick Jonas’ one-year-old daughter Malti Marie on her lap during the ceremony.
This marks the first time that Nick and Priyanka have allowed their baby girl’s face to be seen on a public outing. For the special event, Malti wore a beige tweed jacket and matching skirt styled with a white floral headband. The actress also shared a glimpse of her baby girl on her social media. Chopra took to her Instagram and shared a sweet video of Nick giving his speech. The video is seemingly taken from the back but it did give a glimpse of Malti.
During his speech, Nick gave his little one a sweet shoutout as he told her, “Malti Marie, I can’t wait to come back here with you in 15 years and embarrass you in front of your friends.” Nick went on to say, “To my beautiful wife, you are the calm in the crazy, the rock in the storm, and I love being married to you.” He further gushed, “It is the greatest gift. I love being a parent with you.”
Malti has happily been at home with Priyanka and Nick since last Spring, with the actress taking a year off work to be with her little girl. For the unversed, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra welcomed a baby girl via surrogacy 12 weeks early at a Los Angeles hospital where Malti stayed for 100 days until she was healthy enough to return home with her parents. The couple announced the arrival of their princess on social media writing, “After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home.”
Meanwhile, Nick was looking dapper in a beige suit as he posed with his older siblings, Joe and Kevin, with their hands touching their star in front of the Live Nation Building. However, during the ceremony, the Jonas Brothers also teased the release of their next record, titled The Album, which will be coming out on May 5.
