Pop Star Khalid Postpones India Tour Due To Coronavirus Outbreak

On April 12 Khalid was scheduled to perform in Mumbai, and two days later in Bengaluru.

Popstar Khalid, who was expected to perform in India in April for the first time, canceled his trip to India. In the wake of the global coronavirus outbreak, the singer has postponed his Asia tour. As part of his Khalid Free Spirit World Tour last year, Khalid revealed nine Asia dates with his first-ever India appearance on the list.

“Due to the recent advisories and travel restrictions in several Asian countries, Khalid will be postponing his upcoming tour of Asia, including his India concert. Our highest priority remains the safety of Khalid’s fans, his team and everyone who has been working on these concerts. We are actively working on rescheduling concert dates, with more information to be announced soon on khalidofficial.com.” an official statement about the Asia Tour postponement has been issued on behalf of the artist.

“All customers who have purchased tickets for the show in India can retain their tickets which will be valid for the new dates or are entitled to a full refund, should they be unable to make it. We regret the inconvenience caused due to the unfortunate circumstances and look forward to bringing Khalid for his India debut soon,” the statement added further.

In addition to India, Khalid Free Spirit World Tour was planned to travel to Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, and Seoul.
