Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian had promised the paps that they’d keep their love status ‘lowkey’ and will take things ‘slow’, but none of that seems to be happening right now! The duo is so in love, that they can’t seem to get enough of each other and end up always being together, so much so, that Pete is lately, avoiding everything in order to remain close to his lady love.
Pete has been a part of Saturday Night Live, NBC’s late-night sketch comedy series, for quite some time, and had been sent on leave by the makers of the show because of the shoot of his film, in New York. But recently, the cast members and his fellow co-performers of the show have expressed their disappointment in him, and have stated how he has time for ‘Kim’, but not for the show.
His co-performers are not happy knowing that Pete, who left for the show for the shoot of his upcoming film, is always seen with Kim, either attending the MET Gala or attending her family events, and that he has time for everything, but the show. “Some of his costars are privately raising their eyebrows. Here they are being told by everyone at NBC that he is filming a movie, but all they see is him bobbing up alongside Kim and her family at events like the WHCD (White House Correspondents Dinner) and the MET Gala. It’s hard not to feel anything but abandoned by one of their own!” revealed a source.
While some are disappointed, others are assuming that he has already left the show, “Perhaps Pete thinks he’s now beyond SNL. It’s more unlikely than likely that he will return to for his ninth season. Everyone is whispering backstage that he already quit,” shared another source. “Pete is a huge part of the show. But it’s as if he’s either a part-timer or quit mid-season,” the source added.
While another source close to Kim shared, “Kim and Pete are even happier now that they can attend events together and be in public. They love spending as much time together as possible. Pete has some movies coming up that he’ll be leaving to film, so they really have been spending as much time together as possible before he has to leave”.
