Pete Davidson and Emily Ratajkowski recently made their first official public appearance together since sparking romance rumours earlier this month. The New York Knicks took to the social media platform to share a few shots of the pair sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden during the Knicks’ game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The former Saturday Night Live comedian was seen rocking a blue sweatsuit, sneakers and a pair of sunglasses, with the model keeping things equally cosy in a brown puffer jacket, jeans and python-print boots. Davidson and Ratajkowski were all smiles in the photos, laughing and enjoying their night out. While Pete and Emily have yet to comment on their relationship status, last week, a source shared that the former SNL star and the actress have been dating for the last few weeks and are having “a good time together.”
For the unversed, Ratajkowski filed for divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard, with whom she shares her 1-year-old son, Sylvester Apollo, in September of this year. Since their split, she has been settling into a single life and starting to date. The source revealed, “Emily is doing well and getting more adjusted to her life as a single mom since her divorce. She is dating and having fun with it. She’s in a good headspace.”
Meanwhile, the news of Ratajkowski and Davidson’s relationship first swirled around just weeks ago. Just a few days after their dating reports, paparazzi photos surfaced of the pair hanging out in New York City on his 29th birthday. After that, the source revealed, “Emily has been seeing Pete and thinks he is super charismatic, funny, and a good rebound. It is casual between them, but she likes that they’re comfortable with each other, and have a good time together. Things are going well for her.”
While the new couple still kept things casual, Ratajkowski seemingly confirmed their relationship on social media. When Dionne Warwick jokingly took to Twitter with a post that read, “I will be dating Pete Davidson next,” the model liked the tweet. However, before his romance with Ratajkowski, Davidson was in a relationship with Kim Kardashian, but the couple called it quits after nine months in August.
