Paul Walker’s daughter has opened up about her secret tumor for the first time. She shared the news on Instagram that she has been having treatment for a tumor.
The only daughter of the late Fast and Furious actor, Paul Walker, further revealed that she has been receiving treatment for a tumor for the past two years.
Meadow posted a photo of herself in an operating theatre with a hair cover on and plastic markers on her head. She posed with thumbs-up as stickers placed on the head before an MRI to create a 3-D scan on the brain and then used again during brain surgeries to guide the surgeon, affixed to her forehead.
Meanwhile, she penned, “2 years ago today. I’ve come a very long way. Bye-bye tumor. Blessed & grateful.” Walker’s post flooded with well-wishes in the comments, including one from supermodel Christy Turlington Burns, who said that Walker is “Beyond blessed. Loved.” Brad Pitt’s ex-girlfriend Nicole Poturalski left a flexed bicep and heart emoji in the comments section.
Apart from her health update which now seems to be on the mend, Meadow shared some happy news earlier this month. The model, who was 15 years old when her dad died in a car crash on November 30, 2013, exchanged the vows with her fiancé Louis Thornton-Allan on a beach in the Dominican Republic. According to Deadline, Louis is studying acting at the prestigious Stella Adler school in New York City and recently starred in a music video for Blu DeTiger’s song Vintage.
However, Meadow also invited her dad’s Fast and Furious costars to the intimate wedding, with Jordana Brewster in attendance. Moreover, Meadow was walked down the aisle by actor Vin Diesel. Vin is like a godfather to her. In June, Vin opened up to Extra about being Meadow’s godfather and admitted that he feels ‘very protective’ of the young model.
The Pacifier said, “She’s the first person on Father’s Day to wish me Happy Father’s Day.” The actor added to the outlet, “To see her with my children is one of the most beautiful things. There are moments when I see her playing with [his daughter] Pauline and it hits me so deep cause I can only imagine what my brother sees when he sees that.”
