Paris Jackson Make Rare Comments About Her Late Father Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson's daughter Paris Jackson shares that her late father was a ‘free-love, hippie-type dude.'

Singer and daughter of Michael Jackson, Paris Jackson, recently made some rare comments about her late father while noting that he was the one who inspired her to keep an ‘open mind’ when it comes to beauty. The model revealed that his father and King Of Pop, Michael Jackson, who died in 2009, was a ‘free-love, hippie-type dude.’

The musician-and-model says it was drummed into her that ‘beauty comes from the inside,’ and so she’s always up for experimenting with her appearance. In a recent interview, she said that “I try and always keep an open mind not just with makeup, but with everything.” Paris Jackson went on to say, “I was raised by a free-love, hippie-type dude, so we were taught that beauty comes from the inside and to this day, I still believe that.”

While talking about her signature look, which is a smoky eye, Paris shared, “My go-to look is just a little bit of eyeliner at the very edge of my eye, like a wing, but I don’t really touch the eyelids as much. I feel like a smoky eye is somewhere between that and ’80s rock and roll.” Meanwhile, the Let-Down singer admitted it’s only more recently that she’s felt ‘good about herself and her body,’ as a result of practising self-love.

Meanwhile, her favourite way to express herself is with her many piercings and tattoos most of which have no particular meaning, she admitted but her recent years in the fashion and entertainment industry have led her to appreciate the artistry of makeup. “All of the experiences that I’ve had in the last few years have gotten me to that point,” she says. “I appreciate the artistry behind it,” Paris added.

Paris later explained that growing up in the public eye as part of one of the most famous families in entertainment led her to have a complicated relationship with beauty. Paris said, “Recently, I’ve learned how to cope with it all by practising self-love and affirmations and diving deeper into my spiritual life. It wasn’t until the last couple of years that I’ve started feeling really good about myself and my body, and feeling comfortable and everything.”
