Britney Spears and Elton John’s new song was recently announced and Spears’ friend and reality star, Paris Hilton, gushed about it. During a recent interview, the Paris in Love star shared her thoughts about the upcoming track. While talking about the upcoming song, Hilton said, “It’s gonna be iconic.”
She added, “I just heard it a couple of days ago in Ibiza and it is, it’s insane.” Though Hilton is yet to hear the song, she knows that it’s going to be amazing. Paris Hilton’s reaction came after it was reported last month that Spears and John recorded a fresh take on his 1972 single, ‘Tiny Dancer.’ However, with the release of the song, it will mark Spears’ first single since being freed of her 13-year-long conservatorship in 2021.
Spears also showed off her singing skills in an Instagram video. While taking a break from laundry, the pop star belted out a capella version of her breakout single, ‘Baby One More Time.’ Spears confessed in a lengthy caption that she had wanted to record an ‘alternative version’ of the song for 14 years. She added, “This is me yesterday doing laundry and separating clothes… I haven’t shared my voice in an extremely long time… maybe too long. And here’s me playing at my house with a different version of ‘Baby.’
Paris Hilton and Britney Spears are longtime BFF. The reality star previously opened up about attending Britney Spears’ wedding to Sam Asghari, and how it was a can’t-miss event. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she was asked about a ‘conflict’ that involved Spears’ wedding day, the star explained that President Joe Biden had asked her to DJ the Summit of America’s dinner, which she turned down to instead be by her friend’s side.
Hilton shared, “It was the same night of Britney’s wedding, and I was like, ‘No, I’m not going to miss that. And they were like, ‘We can send a helicopter, [you can] fly back and forth,’ and I’m like, ‘I’m not going to be the one, like, landing in and out of Britney’s wedding in a helicopter.’” Paris then revealed that she had to cancel on the president. Paris Hilton and Britney Spears have been friends since their days as young stars in the spotlight in the early 2000s.
