Netflix Teases Highly Anticipated 2023 Releases: Heart Of Stone, Murder Mystery 2 & More

Check out all the new movies going to release on Netflix this year.

Netflix has recently unveiled several highly anticipated titles with a new trailer highlighting some of its upcoming 2023 films. The streaming giant also revealed release dates for the highly anticipated films. The new titles include a new rom-com starring Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher, along with a sequel to Murder Mystery with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. Check out the new movies released in 2023.

You People
First up was Eddie Murphy’s latest comedy costarring Jonah Hill, You People. The upcoming film follows a new couple and their families, who find themselves examining modern love and family dynamics amidst clashing cultures, societal expectations and generational differences. You People will be released on the service on January 27.

Your Place Or Mine
Meanwhile, romantic comedy fans can see Reese and Ashton Kutcher’s new movie Your Place Or Mine. The upcoming film centres around two long-distance best friends who change each other’s lives when she decides to pursue a lifelong dream and he volunteers to keep an eye on her teenage son. Stream this rom-com on February 10.

Murder Mystery 2
Mystery and thriller fans can look forward to Sandler and Aniston’s upcoming film, Murder Mystery 2. The film will be released on March 31. The film will follow the now private detectives launching their own agency, Nick and Audrey Spitz land at the centre of an international investigation when a friend is abducted.

Extraction 2
Chris Hemsworth stars in a sequel to Extraction that will debut on June 16. After being presumed dead in the first film, black ops mercenary Tyler Rake returns for another high-stakes mission.

Heart Of Stone
Gal Gadot showed off her action stunts in the upcoming spy thriller Heart Of Stone, which is out on August 11. The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Jamie Dornan.

Damsel
Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is set to star in Netflix action-packed film Damsel. After first being locked in a tower and then hidden deep in the forest to prevent a prince from rescuing her, long-haired Rapunzel vows to get revenge. The movie will be released on October 13.

Pain Hustlers
Starring Chris Evans, Emily Blunt and Andy Garcia centres around Liza’s dreams of a better life for her and her daughter so she gets a job at a bankrupt pharmacy and Liza’s guts catapult the company and her into the high life not knowing that she will soon be in the middle of a criminal conspiracy. Pain Hustlers will stream on Netflix on October 17.

The Killer
David Fincher’s directorial The Killer is about an assassin who begins to psychologically crack as he develops a conscience, even as his clients continue to demand his skills. The Killer will release on November 10.

A Family Affair
Nicole Kidman, Joey King and Zac Efron are set to reunite more than a decade after The Paperboy in the rom-com A Family Affair. The film will centres around an unexpected romance that triggers comic consequences for a young woman, her mother, and her boss, grappling with the complications of love, s*x, and identity. A Family Affair will premiere on November 17.
