Netflix spy thriller movie Heart of Stone production has recently kicked off with Gal Gadot taking to her Social media to inform fans of a production start. Meanwhile, Netflix has taken to Twitter to announce a new addition to the cast. Alongside Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot and Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan, the Heart of Stone cast will include Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt.
The streaming giant made the announcement through its official social media handles while tweeting, “Exciting News: Alia Bhatt will star alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in their new movie Heart of Stone!” However, the upcoming movie will be the first Hollywood project for Alia Bhatt. Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has proven her global appeal on several occasions.
However, her latest movie, Gangubai Kathiawadi, had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival. Earlier to this, her movies Gully Boy (2019), and Highway (2014) also premiered at the Berlinale. Gully Boy, directed by Zoya Akhtar, was also India’s official submission for Best Foreign Language Film for the 2020 Oscars. Recognizing her international appeal, the Academy inducted her into its 2020 class.

The upcoming Netflix thriller Heart of Stone will be helmed by Tom Harper who is known for working on such projects as Peaky Blinders, War & Peace, and more. The upcoming movie will be produced by Skydance Media’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Bonnie Curtis, Julie Lynn, Jaron Varsano, and Don Granger, along with Gadot and her Pilot Wave producing partner Jaron Varsano, Bonnie Curtis, and Julie Lynn.
Meanwhile, Gal Gadot has recently revealed that she has already started filming Heart of Stone. The Wonder Woman star took to her Instagram and shared a video of herself from the movie set. Along with the video and behind-the-scenes photos, the actress penned in the caption, “Rachel Stone. Nice to meet you #HeartOfStone.” However, the plot and release date of the upcoming movie is still kept under wraps.
