Netflix Drops Highly-Anticipated Stranger Things Season Four Trailer

The new trailer of Stranger Things season 4 shows Eleven being asked to go to battle following a brief reprieve as a normal teenage girl.

Netflix has recently dropped the trailer of the most awaited supernatural series Stranger Things season 4. However, fans are now more curious to see how things unfold in the latest instalment of Stranger Things. In the recently released trailer, Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown, goes on a war fighting supernatural enemies. The new trailer for the next instalment of the Netflix sensation shows Eleven being asked to go to battle following a brief reprieve as a normal teenage girl.

Eleven, now sporting a head full of curly hair and a flannel shirt, is later seen back with a shaved head and wearing a blood-stained hospital gown. “I relocated you guys far from Hawkins because I thought you’d be safe,” a man tells Eleven. “A war is coming. I’m afraid your friends in Hawkins are very much in the eye of the storm.” Eleven answered, “I don’t have my powers.” “I don’t know how to say this other than just to say it,” the man continues. “Without you, we can’t win this war.”

The trailer moves to Eleven showing her full force of abilities as she flings a group of advancing men off her back, seemingly using the power of her mind. Next, Jim Hopper (David Harbour) is seen imprisoned in Russia wearing a bloodied shirt with his hands placed behind his back. The trailer also shows Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink) visiting her brother Billy Hargrove’s grave and recounting all that had transpired since his death.

As Max speaks to Billy, fans catch a glimpse of how their favourites had been attempting to move on and live a normal life. “Dear Billy, I don’t know if you can even hear this,” Max says. “Ever since you left, everything’s been a total disaster. For a while, we tried to be happy. Normal. But it’s impossible.” Stranger Things season 4 part 1 will premiere on Netflix on May 27.

The official synopsis of Stranger Things season 4 reads, “It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”
