Another Netflix film, Damsel is under production and expected to release in 2023. Directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (who also helmed Intacto), the movie will feature Millie Bobby Brown as its lead star and executive producer, with Nick Robinson, Angela Bassett, Robin Wright, Ray Winstone, Brooke Carter, Shohreh Aghdashloo. Damsel will follow a princess who is shocked to discover that she will be sacrificed to the kingdom’s dragon, even after getting married to her prince charming. She has to wait for someone to save her, but no one is coming.

The Electric State
Millie Bobby Brown is all set to work with The Russo Brothers for the upcoming Netflix film The Electric State. The high-budget film spectacle was announced at the end of 2020, and, recently, there have been speculations of Chris Pratt in talks to co-star. Based on Simon Stålenhag retro-futuristic novel, The Electric State follows orphaned teenager Michelle (Brown) who, along with her friend robot, embarks on a cross-country journey to find her long-lost brother.

Brown will star as the strong lead character of Nora O’Malley, who has worn many different labels on her forehead throughout her life: an ex, a sister, a secret lover, but also a daughter of a con artist. Her mother has taught her many survival skills, which she’ll be forced to use in order to get her and her friends out of a hostage situation planned by dangerous criminal men. The Thing About Jellyfish
Based on the children’s novel by Ali Benjamin, the film will follow Suzy, played by Millie Bobby Brown, whose best friend dies in a drowning accident. Suzy is convinced that the death was caused by a weird jellyfish-sting, and goes way beyond her imagination to prove her theory.
