Millie Bobby Brown Wants To Play Britney Spears In A Biopic

Millie Bobby Brown recently revealed that she wanna play a real person adding that she wanted to portray Britney Spears.

Millie Bobby Brown recently gushed about one of her biggest acting goals. During her latest appearance at The Drew Barrymore Show, the Stranger Things star revealed that her biggest acting dream is to someday portray Britney Spears in a biopic about the singer’s tumultuous life.

The actress shared she wanna play a real person adding that she wanted to portray Britney Spears. Enola Holmes actress explained, “I think her story, first of all, resonates with me.” The actress said the two shared the experience of ‘growing up in public,’ and Millie suggested she detected similar feelings when she would watch old interviews with the pop superstar.

While comparing her and Britney’s early experiences to Drew’s work as an in-demand child actress on films like E.T. and Firestarter, Millie said, “I mean, the same thing with you. I see the scramble for words, and I don’t know her, but, when I look at pictures of her, I feel like I could tell her story in the right way.”

However, Millie didn’t share any further details about what she imagined Britney’s biopic would focus on, though her age would suggest she might be ideal to play the singer-songwriter when she was at the height of her fame, while she would likely be too young to convincingly portray a more mature Britney amid her conservatorship drama.

Elsewhere in the interview, Millie, who recently confused some fans in the UK with the American accent that sometimes pops up in her accent after living in the US for years, bonded with Drew over having to learn several accents to get by. Surprisingly, the Stranger Things star admitted that she had trouble mastering the accent of a rural English farmer.

Millie has shown off her mastery of Australian and American accents several times and pointed out where in her throat and mouth she had to emphasize to get the proper effect. Moreover, Drew showed off a more posh, royal British accent, which she said she learned while filming Ever After, her Cinderella adaptation from 1998. Several times throughout the interview, Drew gushed about how much she loved Millie’s Enola Holmes films, in which she costars with Henry Cavill.
