Miley Cyrus who is never shy about voicing out her opinion was recently seen receiving major backlash from the LGBTQ community after she said some words that were misunderstood by fans on an Instagram Live. Miley went live with new boyfriend Cody Simpson and spoke about “good guys” and she also told her viewers “you don’t have to be gay” because men like Cody are out there. This statement made her fans furious and shortly the LGBTQ community or supporters of it were seen slamming her. BUt quickly Miley cleared the air as she claimed she didn’t mean any harm by what was said.

Miley tweeted, “I was talking sh*t about sucky guys, but let me be clear, YOU don’t CHOOSE your sexuality. You are born as you are. It has always been my priority to protect the LGBTQ community I am a part of. Happy Monday!” She also added the rainbow emoji with her message.

Apart from the backlash she received from the LGBTQ community for her “you don’t have to be gay” statement, Miley also took fans by surprise as she was seen gushing about Cody. She stated that  Cody is the only “good guy”  she met and fans couldn’t help but think that Miley was dissing ex-Liam Hemsworth. And though throughout their relationship both Miley and Liam seemed to be in love and happy together, her new comment surely raised a lot of eyebrows.

Miley has moved on with Cody Simpson while even Liam is seen looking happy with a new love. Liam is seen on various romantic outings with actress Maddison Brown and the two surely look cosy!
