Singer Miley Cyrus and her beau Liam Hemsworth were among the IT couples of the tinsel town. Their love story was nothing short of a fairytale but it didn’t stand the test of time. For the unknown, Miley and Liam exchanged vows on December 23, 2018. The now-former couple kept their wedding ceremony a private affair and shared the news of it on their social media. However, the whirlwind of romance didn’t last long, and the couple started experiencing hiccups in their married life. The trouble in paradise started just a few months into the married life.
Recalling the bygone, Miley said that the massive losses she suffered when her Malibu home with then-fiancé Liam Hemsworth burned down in 2018 in Woolsey Fire. After the incident Miley was traumatized as she had lost everything. Her every photo, written songs, and every bit of memory was burnt down into ashes. Thus, they rushed into marrying and it turned out to be a big mistake.
The 7 Things crooner said, “We were together since 16. Our house burned down. We had been like, engaged — I don’t know if we really ever thought we were actually going to get married.”
After losing everything in the fire, Miley held on to whatever was left. Explaining herself she said, “I just clung to what I had left of that house, which was me and him. And I really do and did love him very, very, very much and still do, always will.”
As of now, the two have moved on from their broken marriage. However, they will always respect each other no matter what.
Liam is now dating model Gabriella Brooks, while Miley recently broke up with boyfriend Cody Simpson.
