Miley Cyrus Makes It To Forbes 30 Under 30 List Again!

The last time Miley Cyrus was on the iconic list was in 2014 when she was 21 and coming off the release of her wildly successful album Bangerz.

Miley Cyrus has made Forbes 30 Under 30 list for the second time in her career. The singer gushed about making the class of 2022 on her Twitter account, posting behind-the-scenes videos from her Forbes shoot where she discussed her career, fans, and Happy Hippie Foundation.

However, on the cover, Miley channeled Dolly Parton as she looked contemplatively for the camera styled in a sparkling silver turtleneck and blonde feathered waves. “I turned 29 last week. It was now or never. Thank you for the honor,” Miley gushed in her tweet.

Meanwhile, in the video, Miley acknowledged just how ‘lucky’ she is to be a professional musician and how the pandemic ‘reignited’ gratitude for her profession. “Songwriting is the greatest joy that I have had in my life. It’s my favorite element of what I do,” she said in the video. “Taking it in and being grateful every day for the fact that I write songs for a living because a lot of people write songs and it doesn’t get to be what keeps their lights on and for me to be able to be one of those people, I never forget how lucky I am.”

Miley also described being separated from her fans for the longest time in her career since she was a child due to the pandemic. Though she may be separated from her fans due to the pandemic, Miley credits the pandemic for helping to ‘reignite’ her appreciation for her career.

Hannah Montana star explained, “With anything, distance makes the heart grow fonder so having that distance from my fans for the longest I’ve ever had since I was 12 years old, and having almost two years separated from me and my audience, the pandemic kind of reignited and just lit that spark again for me, the gratitude that I have to be a live musician, first.”

Miley, who rose to fame as a young actress on Disney’s Hannah Montana, also said she has a ‘really unique relationship with her fans being that she rocketed to fame as a child. The last time Miley was on the iconic list was in 2014 when she was 21 and coming off the release of her wildly successful album Bangerz. Miley made the Music 30 Under 30 list in 2014, but her most recent inclusion was part of Forbes’ Hall of Fame 2022.
