Michelle Dockery To Be In Lead Alongside Tom Hanks In Robert Zemeckis ‘Here’

Four-time Emmy nominee Michelle Dockery (“Downton Abbey,” “Godless”) has joined the cast of “Here,” Robert Zemeckis’ adaptation of Richard McGuire’s Miramax graphic novel.

The project reunites Zemeckis with writers Eric Roth, Tom Hanks, and Robin Wright for the first time since their collaboration on Forrest Gump won six Oscars, including Best Picture. Paul Bettany also plays co-stars.

Tom Hank recently starred in an Oscar nominee Elvis playing Elvis’s manager. Based on McGuire’s graphic novel, Here is a breathtaking and revolutionary odyssey through time and memory. The groundbreaking story centers on a New England location where love, loss, struggle, hope, and legacy have played out between couples (possibly played by Michelle Dockery) and families for generations.
