Met Gala 2022: These Celebrities Could Attend Fashion Biggest Night

It is expected that Taylor Swift will definitely attend Met Gala 2022 as she hasn't been seen walking up the 'Fashion's Biggest Nights' red carpet since 2016.

Met Gala is one of the biggest events in the annual fashion calendar and this year is expected to be no exception. Like every year, the Costume Institute has enlisted a host of celebrities to co-chair the event, and this year Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively will take the stage. Meanwhile, Regina King and Lin-Manuel Miranda will serve as the official co-chairs and hosts. Met Gala is annually organised by Vogue and held in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Met Gala 2022 theme is ‘Gilded Glamour,’ as well as ‘White Tie,’ which aims to be a reference to old-style 19th-century industrialisation, as well as highlighting issues such as the haves and have not. The Gala first started in 1948, and it was exclusively attended by the elites of New York society. However, things changed and now people from the world of show business, fashion and business, and beyond, can attend.

Though the exact guest list for the event is unknown, there are a number of predictions we can make about who will attend. Traditionally, Anna Wintour selects celebrities and designers to co-chair the event alongside her. In 2021, Anna selected actor Timothée, musician Billie Eilish, poet Amanda Gorman, and tennis star Naomi Osaka as hosts, with honorary hosts chairs including Tom Ford and Adam Mosseri.
