Meryl Streep Joins Only Murders In The Building Season 3 Cast

While Only Murders In The Building currently does not has an official release date, it is expected that the series will premiere sometime this summer.

Meryl Streep has joined the cast of Hulu’s critically-acclaimed hit who-done-it, Only Murders in the Building season 3. And the cast of the series teased three-time Oscar winner addition on social media. Only Murders in the Building co-creator and star Steve Martin tweeted a black and white photo of the cast on the Manhattan.

Alongside the photo, the actor penned, “The filming of season 3 of Only Murders in the Building has begun! A cast to dream of.” Meanwhile, executive producer and actress Selena Gomez also shared a funny Instagram video. In the video, Selena, Steve, and Martin hilariously pretended to treat the acting legend like a personal assistant.

The video starts with Gomez saying, “Hey guys, we’re on set! What are we shooting? Season three!” The actress added, “The gang is back, yay! Could this honestly get any better? Oh, wait!” Selena then panned her phone over to Golden Globe nominee Paul Rudd, who said, ‘Well, I do think it could get a little bit better.’

Further in the video, Hollywood star Meryl Streep suddenly popped up from behind the couch and asked, ‘Steve, do you want a pillow? Marty anything you need?’ Executive producer and star Martin Short then replied, ‘Uh… just the tea that I had asked for a half hour ago.’ Streep then placed her hand on Gomez’s back and asked, ‘You okay?’

Selena looked back at her and calmly responded, ‘I’m okay, thank you Meryl’ before shooting a shocked look at the camera. Alongside the video, the actress wrote, “I could cry… season 3 is coming!” Selena posted the same video on her TikTok but with a different caption. The pop star wrote, “@hulu meet our new and old crew! Excuse me while I scream in a pillow.”

Only Murders in the Building season 3 will centers on the murder of Ben Glenroy, played by Paul Rudd as Mabel watches him in a Broadway play directed by Oliver Putnam, played by Martin Short, and co-starring Charles-Haden Savage, Steve Martin. The mystery comedy-drama does not currently has a release date, but we can expect the series to premiere this year.
