Megan Thee Stallion Goes Bold For Billboard 2022 Performance

Megan Thee Stallion bared it nearly all for her 2022 Billboard Music Awards performance as she showcased her world-renowned twerking talents.

Megan Thee Stallion had fans blown away by her 2022 Billboard performance in a stimulating one piece. She also won the Billboard Award for top tap female artists at the Award show. The ceremony was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 16. Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete started her performance with her new song, ‘Plan B’ with a number of backup dancers behind her.

The singer wore a fitted bodysuit with geometric cutouts that flaunted her figure. She also wore black boots with heels. Her outfit was custom made by Mugler, according to her Instagram post. Many fans were of the opinion that her track ‘Plan B’ was aimed at her ex-Tory Lanez, who was accused by Megan to have shot her in the leg in 2020. But Megan later clarified on Twitter that she was ‘just venting Abt experiences I’ve had in relationships I’ve been in the past.’

Many female fans matched the vibe of the song and one of the supporters wrote on Twitter, “When Megan thee stallion said ‘Poppin plan b’s cause I ain’t planned to be stuck with ya’ i think all of us girls have felt that at some point in our lives.'” Megan kept her track heavily censored by skipping certain words on nationally televised broadcasts. Megan then went on to perform ‘Sweetest Pie,’ in which she was joined by a group of background dancers in all-black outfits.

The song is a collaboration with Dua Lipa but Megan performed Solo at the BBMAs. During this performance, Megan showed off her excellent twerking skills in front of the crowd which prompted a funny reaction from Elle King who was present in the audience. While Megan Thee Stallion absolutely stole the show with her performance and her outfits, Doja Cat also rocked a transparent NSFW gown. Another notable moment was Travis Scott performing in public for the first time since the Astroworld tragedy.
