Trailer sees Avengers Hawkeye Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) having dinner with his family in NYC, making up for lost time when Thanos snap took them away. But things aren’t calm thanks to arrow-slinging masked vigilante who is Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfield). “Some people have actually called me the world’s greatest archer”, Kate muses after Clint asks who she is.
Also, special mention to the fact here that the trailer is seen getting played with a beautiful Christmas movie theme. The iconic cult song “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” provides a jaunty holiday soundtrack as Clint and Kate join their forces together in order to wreak havoc on NYC’s bad guys. Now this has led us to think that its like a balanced amalgamation wherein Home Alone meets Die Hard meeting Marvel coupled with what also feels and looks like an Avengers Broadway musical?.
The official synopsis for Hawkeye describes, “Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit”.
Hawkeye is all set to premiere digitally all across globe on renowned OTT streaming platform Disney Plus by 24th November.
