Margot Robbie Promises To “Disappear” After Two Nominations In The Same Category At BAFTAs

Margot Robbie is shook after being nominated twice in the same category at the BAFTAs.

The Baftas was a grand affair that took place on Sunday night at London’s Royal Albert Hall, with 1917 dominating major categories. Margot Robbie didn’t pick up an award, however she was absolutely baffled by  the fact she was nominated twice in the same category.

‘I didn’t actually know it could happen!’ she said.

The Suicide Squad actress appeared twice in the Best Supporting actress category and was nominated for both Bombshell and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. After finding about her double nominations, Robbie promised to “disappear soon”. But we don’t see that happening any time soon as she has been a part of some serious blockbusters like Bombshell, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Birds of Prey and Suicide Squad.

“I’ll disappear soon, I’m sorry. I’m still shooting Suicide Squad film so more Harley to come and after that another exciting project that I can’t talk about. I love working!’ Robbie said.

Robbie continued, “Charlize is an incredible producer, everyone that worked on that film [would say so], it’s a scary thing having a hurdle like that before you begin, but there was no way any of us were going to back out.”

When offered vegan and non-vegan options at the awards, Robbie hilariously replied, “I’m not vegan, but I support the notion”

“There’s too many pictures of me being papped eating hamburgers, I can’t lie now,” she joked.

The night was an affair to remember as Margot gave Brad Pitts hilarious acceptance speech that had jokes about Prince Harry and Brexit, with Kate Middleton and Prince William present in the same room. Another highlight was, Joker star Joaquin Phoenix addressed the criticism that the BAFTAs were getting after the nominations were announced and spoke about the lack of diversity and admitted he was part of the problem as well.
