Fans have questioned whether Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox wed in secret. The pair is now clarifying the facts of their relationship. The rumours started after the 32-year-old performer at the Billboard Music Awards in May referred to the 36-year-old actress as his ‘wife.’ When he gave Fox that title in his most recent Hulu documentary, Machine Gun Kelly’s Life In Pink, he added fire to the marriage rumours.
MGK was interviewed by Rachel Smith from Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet at the documentary’s debut on Monday. He stated that calling Fox his wife is only a token of respect. MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker shared, “I think when I speak about terminology… it never felt like my girlfriend. It feels too adolescent for the depth of our relationship.”
When Fox interrupted the interview on Monday, she expressed a similar attitude, saying that they will marry when the time is appropriate. “He’s got all the names,” she explained. Fox added, “No (we aren’t married), we don’t know what’s happening. He’s on tour this year, when it needs to happen the universe will open up and give us the space to do that.” In romantic social media tributes for any occasion, MGK has been known to refer to her as everything from his ‘twin flame’ to his ‘ethereal light being.’

In an interview with ET on Monday, Kelly talked about how his teenage daughter, Casie inspires him. He and Fox were both dressed entirely in pink, which Kelly claimed was his daughter Casie’s favourite colour. MGK shared while referring to his documentary, “I was talking to her last night. She hasn’t seen it yet. To me, she speaks so eloquently and truthfully. She will be a better person than I am.”
Machine Gun Kelly added, “She will learn from the things I’ve been through.” In January, MGK and Fox made their engagement public. “In July of 2020, we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time,” Fox wrote a piece and included a clip of Kelly proposing. “Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.”
