Lucifer star Tom Ellis indirectly takes a dig at US President Donald Trump for not following COVID safety measures amidst the ongoing global pandemic.
Tom took to his social media and shared how he and the team of Lucifer has been wearing safety masks and shields at work throughout pandemic, and questioned what made the President not follow the same rules.
Sharing his thoughts on social media, Tom wrote, “This is what we have to wear at #lucifer to get back to work as safely as possible during this very real pandemic….and we get tested every day….and we have to social distance…and, as many people like to remind me I’m only an actor. Why would the president who’s in charge of everything not take the same if not more precautions?,”
Tom Ellis post comes days after Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump tested COVID positive.
Meanwhile, President Trump made a surprise drive-past to greet supporters outside a hospital, where he has been admitted for the treatment for the novel coronavirus.
