Louis Tomlinson said he fell after Friday night's show and broke his arm 'pretty badly,' sharing shots of x-rays of his arm alongside his statement.

Fans have to wait a little bit longer to meet Louis Tomlinson. The singer recently cancelled his upcoming in-store album signings. Tomlinson took to his Instagram to inform fans that he would be cancelling upcoming in-store album signings, which were scheduled for the coming week at his Faith in the Future pop-up events in the U.K., after taking a fall after his concert in New York City Friday night.

The former One Direction member said he fell after Friday night’s show and broke his arm ‘pretty badly,’ sharing shots of x-rays of his arm alongside his statement. Tomlinson promised to re-schedule the signings and apologized to fans who had been planning to attend. While sharing the photos of the X-ray of his right arm, Louis began, before breaking the bad news to his fans, “Thank you to everyone that’s listened to the new album so far, it means the world to me. The show last night in New York was incredible.”

Tomlinson added, “Unfortunately, on the way back I’ve managed to fall and break my right arm pretty badly.” The singer continues, “So I’m gutted to say I’ll have to reschedule the in-store signings next week.” “New dates will be announced very soon,” he promised. “Thank you for all your support and sorry to anyone who was coming next week. Louis.”

Louis Tomlinson is a former member of the popular boyband, One Direction. One Direction went on hiatus in 2016 after one of its members, Zayn Malik left the group. Now it’s been almost 7 years since all five members, that is, Louis, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Liam Payne, sang together on stage. Fans are still hopeful for the One Direction reunion.

Previously, Louis, who first found fame on The X Factor in 2010 and went on to become one of the most successful boybands ever, shared his hopes for the One Direction reunion. In the previous interview, Tomlinson said he thinks it ‘would be a shame’ if he and his fellow One Direction bandmates never reunite. When asked about getting back together, he said, “One day, there’s a lot of moving parts but it would be a shame if we didn’t. I hope so.”
