Netflix has released the first trailer for its highly anticipated romantic drama Lonely Planet, starring Oscar-winning actress Laura Dern and Hollywood heartthrob Liam Hemsworth. The film, set to debut on Netflix on October 11, 2024, is directed by filmmaker Susannah Grant, best known for her work on Erin Brockovich.
The movie, filmed against the breathtaking backdrop of Morocco, revolves around an unexpected love story between the characters played by Dern and Hemsworth. Katherine (played by Dern) visits a writer’s retreat in Morocco to deal with her writer’s block, and things take a turn when she meets Owen (played by Hemsworth).
