Liam Payne, after two years of dating, is allegedly engaged to girlfriend Maya Henry.
For Liam Payne and Maya Henry, wedding bells seems to be on the horizon after the One Direction actor has reportedly asked the Texan model to marry him over the summer.
According to UK Daily Mail, Henry, 20, was spotted wearing a ring — reportedly worth £ 3 million at tony London restaurant Novikov on Thursday. The source of the tabloid told them, “it was hard to miss Maya’s ring — it’s a real dazzler.”
Texan based model Henry and former One Direction memeber Payne, 26, were able to keep the engagement under wraps successfully due to the coronavirus lockdown.
A source told the Mail in February that the two “have been taking time off social media lately and enjoying each other’s company away from the spotlight.”
But in June they were spotted supporting Black Lives Matter protest in London.
Meanwhile, last October, speaking to MTV about his girlfriend Payne said: “I’ve found someone who’s genuinely my best friend, she’s just so relaxed about everything and someone who’s completely got your back with everything is just the wildest thing.”
In early August 2018, the linkup rumours about couple started doing rounds , shortly after Payne’s split from Cheryle Cole, 37 who is “X-Factor” judge.
Cole and Payne share a 3 year old son, Bear.
In September 2019, Payne revealed the two were dating. Later he made the relationship Insta-official by posting a cozy picture with Maya.
Being in the news about something positive for a change needs to be refreshing for Payne.
As from the past few months, he is been in the spotlight for all negative reasons like his song “Both Ways” was slammed on social media for fetishizing bisexuality.
Then in April, One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson “told him off” for spilling the beans about the reunion plans of the band.
Henry on the work front, most recently starred alongside Dylan Sprouse and Suki Waterhouse in mystery thriller Carte Blanche.
