Liam Payne Hints At Different Plan For One Direction’s 10th Anniversary Reunion; Check Out

Rumors were floating that One Direction’s 10th-anniversary reunion might not happen amid the coronavirus crises but Liam Payne is still hopeful that the boys will do something to celebrate the special day. Read below to know more.

One Direction boy band was amongst the world-renowned boy band before they split back in 2015. However, this year marks special for the former band members of One Direction because if the band would have been intact they would have completed 10 years on July 23, 2020.

For the unversed, this British boy band was formed by Simon Cowell on the X-Factor and the band comprised of- Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan. The adorable boy band enjoyed a massive fan following who called themselves the One Directioners. Since the boy band split in 2015, the fans have been speculating a reunion but nothing ever happened.

Meanwhile, there were rumours floating around that, the former band members were planning for a tour to celebrate their 10-year anniversary but had to let go of their plans amid the coronavirus pandemic. The news broke the hearts of many One Directioners who were hoping to see their favourite boy band together once again.

But it seems like the wish of the fans has been granted, as one of the former members of One Direction- Liam Payne has hinted that probably the reunion hasn’t been cancelled. He is still hopeful that the boys will do something to celebrate the special day. Liam confessed, “Obviously, we know it’s a very big anniversary and we definitely want to do something. I mean, it’s a tough one. I can’t promise any reunion plans because it just isn’t it right now. I always put it down to music language because everyone’s releasing at the moment with like two years worth of promo.”

He further added, “But, you know, it still seems very hopeful in that department. I’m starting to think it’s gonna happen at some point. So it’s exciting.”

The news has obviously has made One Directioners sprint with joy but has also confused them all at once. As just a couple of days, back another former member- Niall Horan had shut down all the rumours about a possible reunion. He said that there has nothing being planned about the same.

Well, there is another good news for the One Direction fans as Liam shared that amid the quarantine period the former members have been able to open up the channels of communication again as they haven’t spoken for a while.

The 26-year old singer also revealed why the split was necessary, he believes that after spending so much time together as a boyband, the distance was much needed to figure out themselves as individual people as they all know that they are in a band.
