Liam Hemsworth was off the grid after news of his break-up with ex-wife Miley Cyrus made headlines. It was reported that he left to go to Australia for some time as he didn’t want to be apart of any drama. He till now was relying on the strength of his family, as he dealt with his break-up. While in Australia he was seen vacationing with his brother Chris Hemsworth at an Island. A source revealed, “Liam really felt he needed his family after the break-up. They are very, very close.”
Miley and Liam’s romance that carried on for almost a decade, after the two met while shooting for the 2009 Nicholas Sparks‘ film The Last Song. The pair dated for a few years but eventually broke up in 2014. But they then got back in 2016 and tied the knot in December of last year. The source also revealed that Liam’s mother Leonie Hemsworth, never really approved for Miley. The source went on to say, “His mom is feeling so relieved that Liam made the decision to end the relationship as his entire family, but her especially, always struggled to approve Miley.”
Since her split, Miley moved on with Kaitlynn Carter whom she dated for a month but soon called it quits. She is currently dating Cody Simpson. While recently Liam was seen holding hands with a new flame, actress Maddison Brown. The source further stated, “Liam’s family just wants him to be happy, but they want to see him with someone much more traditional and they won’t be happy until he has that.”
Maddison who is known for her role on CW’s Dynasty reboot seems to be more conservative on social media, compared to Miley’s racy image. However, Maddison in a previous interview revealed that she did once admit to fantasizing about having sex with Liam.
