In a recent video shared on Instagram, the actor endorsed Kamala Harris for President talking about her commitment to tackling climate change. In his message, Leonardo DiCaprio on Harris stresses how urgent the climate crisis is, saying, “Climate change is killing the earth and ruining our economy.” He believes it’s time for strong actions to protect both our planet and our economy.
In the video, DiCaprio was also clear about his criticism of former President Donald Trump. He pointed out that Trump keeps denying climate science and ignoring the problems caused by environmental damage. “Donald Trump continues to deny the facts. He continues to deny the science,” DiCaprio said. He mentioned how Trump pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Accords which has hurt global efforts to fight climate change.

Praising her role in passing the Inflation Reduction Act which aims to build a greener economy and set goals for net-zero emissions by 2050.
