The Shallow singer had an interesting chat with the talk show host during Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus Tour at Fort Lauderdale on Saturday. The two talked about a range of interesting topics, one of which being the romance rumours with ‘A Star Is Born’ co-star Bradley Cooper, to which Lady Gaga finally gave clarity and admitted, “We did a really good job at fooling everyone. We created that.

Oprah then rightly told the audience, “It wouldn’t have worked if you didn’t believe they were in love.” This is true because the undeniable chemistry that the duo created drove the audience crazy and the film even went on to win an Oscar. Fans were rooting for the two to be a couple even though they were both had significant others Christian Carino and  Irina Shayk.

Oprah also revealed to Gaga in another interview saying, “Bradley said if they had been true, he never would have been able to look at you in the eye sitting at the piano. He said his Catholic guilt would have never let him be able to look you in the eye at that piano. How did you feel about all that at the time? You handled it so well.

Gaga explained, “I mean, we made a love story. For me, as a performer and as an actress, of course, we wanted people to believe that we were in love. And we wanted people to feel that love at the Oscars. We wanted it to go through the lens of the camera and to every television that it was being watched on. And we worked hard on it, we worked for days. We mapped the whole thing out — it was orchestrated as a performance.

Well, Gaga & Bradley sure did a great job at fooling all of us!
