Lady Gaga Has New Species Of Insects Named After Her

Since a new species of insects are discovered by the scientist Brendan Morris, the species of insects are named after Lady Gaga

Lately, a new species of insects was discovered and named after the famous singer Lady Gaga. As we are curious about what contributed to similarities with the candidate for a Ph.D. at the University of Illinois, Brendan Morris decodes that for us. After studying 1000 treehoppers for his research thesis, Brendan Morris observed a female bug with distinct characteristics that separated it from others.

The new species of treehopper from Nicaragua’s Pacific coast is now known as Kikaia Gaga or K Gaga. Talking to the Illinois News Bureau, Brendan Morris said the treehopper is a great fit because it has horns if there is going to be a Lady Gaga bug there. “They have this wacky fashion sense about them. They’re unlike anything you’ve ever seen before”.

Brendan Morris told the daily that now, to research more on K Gaga, he wants to visit Nicaragua.  It isn’t the first time an organism has got a musician’s name. A sea Crustacean has earlier been named after the American heavy metal band, Metallica.

Talking about Lady Gaga everyone is well versed with her unusual styling choices. Lady Gaga has become a beauty model in the tinsel town with wild purple locks to chic goth makeup, eccentric lip shades and more. The pop diva and film star has constantly reinvented their look and has become popular with beauty. Besides her talent, she’s got her modish at various events.
