Many people got surprised when they got to know that the nuanced Hollywood star Kristen Stewart has been roped in to play the lead protagonist character of late enigmatic Princess Diana in noted film maker Pablo Larrain’s biographical film titled Spencer but she surprised us all with her amazing transformation in the first look stills released by makers which created suspense and piqued curiosity of fans into the film making it one of the most eagerly anticipated films of the year and now in a recent interview, Kristen opens up on scary thing about playing Diana in Spencer.

Best loved and remembered by her fans across the globe as Bella Swan from the superhit Twilight film series franchise (2008 – 2012), in a latest tete a tete chat interview off late, Kristen opens up on scary thing about playing Diana in Spencer.

This most eagerly anticipated official biographical film adaptation titled Spencer is being helmed by Pablo Larrain and the story has been written by Steven Knight and where British royal family has slammed the film for obvious reasons, its true that in a new interview off late, Kristen opens up on scary thing about playing Diana in Spencer.

In a recently conducted interview with film maker Pablo Larrain by a leading digital Hollywood entertainment website, Larrain revealed that film won’t focus on her death but rather is based on a specific time during three day period at Sandringham and explaining about same, she said, “It’s a very energetic and beautiful script by Knight… It’s incredible and captures what I have always found and that is an enormous amount of beauty in the power of Diana. When she had the stage of the world and what she had to say in her own story and how strong she could be when she needed to transform herself into something different, to find her own path. It’s a romantic story of a woman going through difficult times who finds the light and the solution. She died years after where our story is set and so we don’t deal with that”.

Besides Kristen, the ensemble star cast of the film includes BAFTA nominated actor Timothy Spall, Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee Sally Hawkins, and Sean Harris known for Prometheus and the Mission: Impossible films.

In an interview dated last year October 2020 with a leading digital entertainment portal, revealing about how stepping into the shoes of an iconic character can be really challenging and also was intimidating for her, Kristen said, “The accent is intimidating as all hell. People know that voice, and it’s so, so distinct and particular. I’m working on it now and already have my dialect coach”.

She also added, “In terms of research, I’ve gotten through two and a half biographies… It’s one of the saddest stories to exist ever, and I don’t want to just play Diana — I want to know her implicitly. I haven’t been this excited about playing a part, by the way, in so long”.

In one of her interviews last year at Jimmy Kimmel Live, explaining fact about how she feels really protective over Princess Diana, Kristen had said, “It’s hard not to feel protective over her. She was so young … everyone’s perspective is different, and there’s no way to get everything right … what is fact in relation to personal experience”.
