Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North West, turned nine on June 15. And to mark the special day, the little girl celebrated with a ‘spooky wilderness’ party. Recently, her aunt Kourtney Kardashian shared glimpses from North’s birthday. Kourtney Kardashian shared a carousel snap on her Instagram. Included in the roundup of photos was a video of North’s cousin and Kourtney’s daughter with Scott Disick, Penelope.
The little girl wore a forest green sweatshirt, helmet, and harness before taking a leap through the woods on a zip-line. Penelope asked a guide, ‘Ready?’ before a man replied, ‘You’re ready, girl!’ and then she zoomed off with an excited yelp. At the beginning of the clip, she said, ‘Bye, mom,’ to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, who was recording the video. Other posts in the slideshow showed Kourtney Kardashian from behind as she wore camouflage cargo pants and a puffer vest.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum sported a black hat with a special effects knife attached to it. Elsewhere in the post, Kourtney documented a small cabin with four wicker chairs set up outside it. The seats had plush, bright blue cushions and they surrounded a small, burning fire pit. Also included in the camp-themed setup were bows and arrows and targets arranged for recreational shooting.
A teacup, saucer, candle, and plate of honey and lemon were arranged on a table indoors as well. Inside, guests could keep warm in front of a roaring fireplace as they enjoyed card games and Bananagrams. Kourtney simply captioned the post, Camp North.” While Kim has yet to share images from her daughter’s birthday celebration, she did give some details in her recent appearance on The Tonight Show.
Gushing about North’s birthday party, Kim said, “She’s really into special effects makeup. She does really good wounds and scars.” The Kardashians star also revealed that North wanted to have a spooky, wilderness-themed birthday party so she took them out camping in the wilderness. Kim noted that North invited eight friends to the outing and taught them how to apply special effects with mannequin heads.
