Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian, who was planning a joint Candy Land themed birthday bash for their daughters North West and Penelope Disick got into a disagreement about restrictions on treats which lead to a fight.
Kim in a confessional interview from the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians said, “Kourtney has this vision of no sugar or no disgusting chemicals in candy. It’s like a completely sugar-free, gluten-free, party free, fun free zone and that’s really not the theme for what North and Penelope wanted for their birthdays.”
Kim in the preview is heard telling Kourtney, “It’s Candy Land, Kourtney, it’s not going to be healthy.” But Kourtney just doesn’t want to listen and hits back by saying, “It’s not going to be healthy no matter what — sugar is not healthy — what I’m saying is let’s not do the nasty stuff like food colouring and all the gross s***. There’s just better solutions to things instead of your dated candy that’s like literally food colouring and gives people diseases.”
Kim who is ready to drop the theme reminds Kourtney how this party is not about her brand but their kids birthday party. Kim who continues to grill Kourtney says, “I want a fun kids party with lots of candy.” Kourtney in her interview goes about how she cannot believe that Kim is willing to compromise and that she doesn’t feel guilty about giving not only their kids but other kids coming to the party junk candy.
But even with their disagreements, the bash did happen in June just the way as Kim wanted.
