Kim Kardashian penned a heartfelt homage to her late father, Robert Kardashian, on his 78th birthday. Taking to Instagram, Kim shared a throwback snap of herself and Robert from 1998, which showed them seated next to one another at a dinner table. The SKIMS founder looks youthful with red rose clips in her hair.

The reality TV sensation penned in a caption, “Birthday selfie with my dad!” The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star continues, “We took this pic on this day celebrating his birthday at the Armenian restaurant in 1998.”
Kim continued, “Born on 2.22.44 and today it’s the angel number 2.22.22. I definitely feel the angels all around and feel you all the time. Thank you for always guiding and protecting all of us. Definitely celebrating you today dad. I miss you soooooo much.” Kim Kardashian also used her Instagram Story to share some of her personal favorite photos of Robert.
Kim has long cited Robert as her biggest inspiration and even began pursuing a law degree in 2018 in order to follow in his footsteps. However, Kim’s sisters Kourtney and Khloe also took to their social media to pay tribute to the Kardashian patriarch, who passed away at the age of 59 after a weeks-long battle with esophageal cancer in September 2003.
Kim’s eldest sister Kourtney was the first to remember Robert on his birthday by uploading a slew of snaps from her childhood that also featured their mother Kris Jenner and their younger sister Khloe. “Happy Birthday to my daddy. my angel forever,” captioned the POOSH founder on a photo of her teenage self posing between Robert and Kris.
