Kim Kardashian, 41, and Pete Davidson, 28, called it quits earlier “this week,” a source close to Kim revealed to HollywoodLife. Kim last saw Pete in Australia, where he is making a new movie with Orlando Bloom and will likely stay for at least a few more weeks, just two weeks before to the breakup.
Kim hasn’t commented on the breakup on social media, but she did tweet a cute picture with her oldest daughter Chicago, 4, on Twitter. The reality star hugged Chi, who was dressed in identical black leather while donning all-black leather clothing and futuristic eyewear that resembled goggles. Oddly enough, both clothes were from Kanye West’s Yeezy collection.
The caption, which appeared to be a reference to the collection and styles, read “YR 3022 YEEZY SHDZ.” Pete and Kim first became romantically involved when the SKIMS founder made her Saturday Night Live hosting debut last October. Since they shared that sweet on-screen kiss with Princess Jasmine and Aladdin, the passion has transferred off-screen, and they have taken their love all over the world.
The two appeared to get serious soon, enjoying a romantic trip to the Bahamas barely a month into their relationship. Their friends and family appeared to agree that they were a fantastic match. “Kim almost forgot how to have fun when she was with Kanye. Pete is humbling her, and she is learning humility from him,” a source told HollywoodLife earlier.
“Her family has never seen this side of her before, but they are just happy that she’s so happy. Kim is having such an amazing time with Pete, and she feels happier than she has in a long time. Pete allows Kim just to be herself and she doesn’t feel she has to put on a show for anybody.”
Pete added to his tattoo collection with some ink devoted to Kim shortly after the two made their relationship Instagram official. He looked to have obtained the anagram KNSCP for her children North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3. He also got one that said “my girl is a lawyer” in reference to her legal studies, as well as one that said “Kim.”
Throughout their relationship, the pair encountered a good number of challenges. Kanye West, Kim’s ex-husband, didn’t exactly make things simple for them. He has been disparaging the SNL star on social media and in the lyrics of his songs. Kim expressed fear for Pete’s safety in response to Ye’s threats, which Ye inexorably leaked to his Instagram.
