Kendall Jenner took to her social media to show off what “Christmas at Kenny’s” looks like, and let’s just say it’s much different from Kim Kardashian’s version. Kendall who is otherwise very private about her personal life, gave fans a rare peek inside her $8.5 million Beverly Hills mansion. She showed her house that is transformed for the 2019 holiday season. Well, we cannot say transformed, as she didn’t opt for anything too fancy or no inflatable Santa Clauses, just some drapes along the mantel f her fireplaces with traditional Christmas fern intertwined with gold lights! She even had a massive lit-up tree standing in the corner of her Spanish-style room. Her decor was just elegant, classy and timeless, just like her and her brand.
And though Kendall and Kim’s taste in decor is extremely different, Kim’s creative take on the North Pole in her house is quite beautiful. Her home looks like a page out of a Dr Seuss storybook brought to life, as it includes cloud-like figures currently in hallways of the cavernous home while the large white sculptures of abstract, is really not hard to miss. While showing off her house decor on social media, she is heard saying, “I love these. They’re so whimsical, like Whoville, but all white,” referring to the Christmas-loving town in the film How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
But after looking at her house decor, netizens turned into grinches and kept comparing her imaginative Christmas decorations to “giant tampons,” “marshmallows” and more. But even with all the criticism, Kim is surely not second-guessing herself. A source told an entertainment portal, “Kim is extremely sensitive and she is not a fan of people calling out their feelings about her design or fashion missteps on social media, however, that doesn’t mean she will change anything or do anything differently. She likes it and thinks it looks cute as it is.”
