Keke Shares Photo Of Sad Met Gala Meal – See Post

Keke Palmer posted a photo of her Met Gala meal on Twitter. The dish appeared to comprise corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, risotto, and mushroom, fans compared it to the Fyre Festival.

Actor, singer, and television star Keke Palmer has shared a photo on Twitter of her meal at the recent Met Gala. The food reminded netizens of the Fyre Festival. At the event, she carried an earth-tone body-hugging dress with a train.

Taking to Twitter, Palmer on Tuesday wrote, “I’m sitting with Hailee Steinfeld and I gotta tell y’all, she dope af.” When a user asked her what’s on the menu of the Gala. Keke tweeted a picture of the food she had taken on her plate in a reply. With the picture, she wrote, “This why they don’t show y’all the food (face with tongue emoticon). I’m just playinnnn,” followed by eye emoticon. She captioned the post, “The menu chile.”

The food on the plate includes pieces of cucumber, tomato, a darkened leafy vegetable, slightly burnt corn kernels, and seemingly bland porridge.

In a minute, the tweet flooded with reactions and comments. Fans started comparing the food to the Fyre Festival, organs of the human body, and diseases. The Fyre Festival was a failed luxury music festival founded by con artist Billy McFarland and rapper Ja Rule. It was organized to promote the Fyre app for booking music talent.

A Twitter user wrote, “That’s um bronchitis.” “Not them serving half a lung,” said another. “They served u a lung of someone who smokes 40 a day,” tweeted a fan. “Not a single oz. of protein to be seen… smh the longer you look at it the grosser it gets,” said a fan. “If I paid 30k and got this on my plate I would demand a refund idk,” another said. A user said, “This is sad, ima get my mama to cook a lil something for them.”

According to a Vogue report, for Met Gala 2021, which happened after a year’s delay, culinary maestro and Bon Appetit advisor Marcus Samuelsson gave 10 New York chefs the challenge to “craft a sustainable, plant-based menu that fits the theme of In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.” The chefs include Fariyal Abdullahi, Nasim Alikhani, Emma Bengtsson, Lazarus Lynch, Junghyun Park, Erik Ramirez, Thomas Raquel, Sophia Roe, Simone Tong, and Fabian von Hauske

“After a difficult two years for the restaurant industry, this will showcase the work and tell the stories of a dynamic group of chefs while presenting an exciting menu of delicious, plant-based dishes. The gala offers an incomparable opportunity for emerging talent to elevate their careers and share their perspectives and craft,” Samuelsson was quoted as saying.
