Keanu Reeves To Go On A Virtual Date For Children’s Cancer Charity

Matrix 4 fame actor Keanu Reeves is offering a 15-minute virtual date to raise funds for a children’s cancer charity. Reportedly, the Hollywood star has been quietly donating time and money to cancer charities in honor of his sister, who battled leukemia.

Now Keanu Reeves is offering the highest bidder a 15-minute Zoom call in a nearly 50-lot auction for Camp Rainbow Gold. Keanu Reeves will answer questions and during the call, there is a possibility he will share a virtual glass of wine.

Keanu is known for his humble and giving nature and he also on a regular basis gives away his earnings. Unlike other Hollywood actors who are surrounded by security, Reeves can be spotted using public transportation ditching luxurious cars.

The actor is adored for his down-to-earth nature and enjoys a massive fan following.  

The mission of the Camp Rainbow Gold is to “provide emotionally empowering experiences to Idaho’s children diagnosed with cancer and their families.”

The auction serves to boost fundraising efforts following a canceled event due to the COVID-19 pandemic for the organization. Keanu Reeves is joined by famous names including former Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke who will perform a 15-minute private Zoom concert and voice actor Rob Paulsen who will mimic some of his memorable characters.

The executive director of Camp Rainbow Gold said, “We quickly realised we wouldn’t be the only ones moving our fundraiser to an online auction.” She also added that after months at home, people are craving connections and experiences that are safe but fulfilling.

The campaign has opened on June 15 and will end on June 22.
